Sonia Nastase, General Manager, Howard Johnson Grand Plaza Hotel

Sonia Nastase has been a proved hospitality professional for over 12 years. She has actively participated in opening hotels by developing and implementing strategic marketing plans for 5-star hotels such as Hilton Bucharest and Howard Johnson Grand Plaza. Additionally, she gained consultancy experience in the same industry as Senior Associate at Trend Hospitality where she coordinated the opening of several Ramada hotels throughout the country. Since September 2009 she has been running the Howard Johnson Grand Plaza Hotel as General Manager.
Sonia Nastase is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the Romanian- Canadian MBA program and her initial study was in the Department of Engineering Sciences, part of Polytechnic University Bucharest. Sonia is a fluent speaker of English, French and Romanian.
