Jan Ficek, Managing Director, Labartt Hospitality

an Ficek graduated at the University of Economics in Prague. Since 1994 he worked in hotel investment company TOP.SPIRIT at positions in the area of hotel management and hotel investments. Company portfolio comprises of international hotels having the InterContinental brand. Since 1998 he was nominated to a post of company`s Executive Director for Strategy and Development. During 1998 - 2000 he was director of hotel company Legner Hotels.

Jan Ficek was appointed to General Director of company Labartt Investment a.s in 2000. As part of Labartt Group he is responsible for the area of hotel investments & management, drawing the EU funds for tourism/hospitality projects and also real estate investments.

Jan Ficek is also member of board of Labartt Properties, who is strong player in Czech and Slovak real-estate market, and Executive Director of Labartt Hospitality. In Labartt Group he guarantees and supervises all professional publishing and lecturing activities. He lectures the topics related to hotel investments not only for commercial sector, but also at the University of Economics in Bratislava, The University of Economics in Prague and The Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest.
