Octavian Moldovan Director of Food & Beverage, Howard Johnson Grand Plaza « inapoi

Octavian MOLDOVAN is the Director of Food & Beverage Department in Howard Johnson Grand Plaza Hotel in Bucharest, Romania. He holds a University Degree in Finance, Accountancy and Stock Exchange at The Academy of Economic Sciences. In 2007 he became a graduate of The Royal Institute of Hospitality Management, obtaining the Postgraduate Diploma in Hospitality Industry, in cooperation with Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne. He has been working in restaurant industry since 1993, both front and back of the house. He was involved in bar openings and staff recruitment between years 1999-2000. After this period he left for Germany, to work in hotel industry. Some of his past years were spent so working in Germany and Turkey, the tourism over there helping him in developing highly trained selling skills and F&B operations experience. Between 2004 and 2007 he was working in Event organizing being a Banqueting Manager at Howard Johnson’s where he put together a Sales Team in order to maximize F&B profitability.
